ABSTRACT
Abstract: A didelphys uterus is characterized by a complete failure of the Mullerian ducts to fuse between week 10 and 13 of fetal life. It is associated with an increased risk of abortions, preterm birth, placental abruption, intrauterine growth restriction and perinatal mortality. In this case report, we discuss a case of didelphys uterus in a woman who successfully carried her pregnancy to term and delivered by caesarean section because of the preterm rupture of the membranes with an unfavorable Bishop score, without any complications.
Keywords: didelphys uterus, term pregnancy, uterine malformation.
