ABSTRACT
Plants, containing tannins (tanides), are used in medicine and cosmetology in the recipes of creams, ointments, lotions, shampoos, due to antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, angioprotective, antiseptic, antibacterial, whitening effects. This message describes the development of the recipe and technology of natural medicinal cream, using the bark of the oak - Quercus robur L. (syn. Quercus pedunculata Ehrh.). Earlier a number of authors proposed, when receiving ointments or creams, to carry out the extraction of biologically active substances from finely ground plant material, using directly the base without carrying out the filtration process. Under certain conditions,
taking into account the presence of both water and oils in the base, both water-soluble and fat-soluble biologically active substances can be extracted, i.e. it is possible to obtain a more total extract, which will be contained in the ointment or cream. When preparing a cream or ointment, finely ground plant material powder with the particles of 0.1-0.05 mm or less, is used, and that allows a high degree of extraction. When applying the ready product to the skin, the skin extracts to a certain extent, that depends on the structure and characteristics of the skin of a particular patient, an additional amount of biologically active substances. As a technological advantage of such method of obtaining a cream or ointment, should be mentioned the fact, that the plant material, introduced into the base, swells in it, increasing the colloidal stability of the system.
