DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERISATION OF FAST DISSOLVING TABLET OF FLURBIPROFEN: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Oral medication conveyance framework has been viewed as the most helpful and affordable technique for medication organization with great patient compliance. Among the oral dosage form a tablet dosage form has been the most acceptable one. The major advantage of mouth dissolving tablets is high patient compliance and disintegration in mouth; this could improve the clinical impact of medication through pregastric retention. The purpose of development of oral fast drug delivery is not only to give instant relief but also overcome difficulty in swallowing tablets and capsules resulting in non- compliance & ineffective therapy. Solid dispersion method is effective approach for dissolution rate improvement of flurbiprofen tablet. Solid dispersion technique is solubility enhancement technique. It uses different type of distintegrants. Solid dispersion method micrometric & dissolution property of flurbiprofen.
