ABSTRACT
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. There are currently no data available to assess the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission during dental practice or to determine whether Dental Health Care Professionals (DHCP) are adequately protected when providing dental treatment using Standard Precautions, but places DHCP in the very high exposure risk category, as their jobs are those with high potential for exposure to known or suspected sources of the virus that causes COVID-19 during specific procedures. This is an attempt to what dentists have to do post COVID-19 Lockdown Era.
Keywords: COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, DHCP.
