ROLE OF PANCHAKARMA IN DINCHARYA

ABSTRACT
Dincharya is composed of two words din and charya, here dina means a day or a day time: whereas charya mens duities or regimen action to be carried. So dincharya is the method by which men can remain healthy always by following the regimen. The two mains Aims of following the dincharya are, it maintains the normal health and it increases the life spn without any disease. The Principal of Ayurveda is maintenance of health and treatment of diseases. Health refers to both psychological and physical health. People are suffering from Major life style disorders now the days like Obesity, stress etc. so some procedures like Shiroabhyanaga, Udavartana, Abhyanga mentioned in Ayurveda classics may help one to overcome from these disorders. To maintain health one should follow principles of Swasthavritta. Acharya’s have explained daily regimen and seasonal regimen to
follow under Dincharya and Ritucarya. Various panchakarma procedures are explained in Dincharya, which helps to fulfill the aims of Swastharakshana and pacify diseased conditions. Seasonal regimen also includes some seasonal panchakarma like virechana in sharad ritu etc, which protects a person from pitta disorders. Some of the procedures are also very easy like Kavala, Gandusha, Anjana etc. which further helps in eradicating diseased conditions. And even these small procedures can be performed daily. So by contribution of Swasthavritta and Panchakarma, one can easily lead better and healthy life. In the present articles brief introduction is planned and benefits for the procedures are explained.
