FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF POLYHERB MOSQUITO REPELLENT EMUGEL

ABSTRACT

Formulation of polyherb emugel is prepared by using two or more natural herb or oil citronella oil and catnip oil and they gives unique activity againt mosquito. other ingredient is carbepol 934, liquid paraffine Propylene glycol, methyl paraben, propyle paraben, tween 20, span 20, ethanol and water, And its act as good mosquito repellent activity and protection of skin from the other harmful environment. Because its formulate in emugel form they gives better action compaire to cream and other dosage form and also act as a dermatological used. formulation of polyherb emugel is better action than the marketed product and its safty, effective and more stable. the observation found to be from the evaluation parameters spedability, viscosity, appearance, skin irritancy test, drug content, pH etc.
