ABSTRACT
Medicinal plants are considered as a rich resource of ingredients which can be used in drug development. Lablab purpureus a slender twining shrub, belonging to Fabaceae family. Seed podes extract of related Lablab species reported to have anti inflammatory and analgesic activity Phyto-estrogenic substances can manipulate the inflammatory function in animals. The histological changes in the paw tissue synovial changes and radiological change in joints of the methanolic extract (MEL) was observed.
