ABSTRACT
Heterotopic pregnancy is defined by the coexistence of an intrauterine and ectopic pregnancy whatever its location. It is a rare pathology; but its frequency has increased significantly in recent years due to the development of techniques for medically assisted procreation and the resurgence of upper genital infections. We report an observation of patients who benefited from care for a heterotopic pregnancy at the Emergency Department Gynecology-obstetrics of the maternity souissi flap. We have reported clinical, ultrasound and therapeutic management data for this patient. Pelvic pain was the main reason for consultation. The diagnosis of heterotopic pregnancy was suspected on ultrasound. The treatment performed was a laparotomy salpingectomy for GEU. The evolution of the GIU was favorable in this case.
Keywords: heterotopic pregnancy, diagnosis, treatment, intrauterine pregnancy.
