ABSTRACT
In the current study poor solubility of Paracetamol was increase by preparing Solid Dispersion by Different Method like Trituration Method, Melting Method and Solvent evaporation Method using PEG 6000 in the Ratio 1:1 to 1:3 respectively. Optimized Solid Dispersion tablet of Paracetamol, prepared using HPMC can successfully be employed as an oral controlled release drug delivery system. Optimized Formulation F2 with optimized solid dispersion ration (1:3) reduced the frequency of Dose and also increases its water solubility. Hence Effect of Processing Strategy of Solid Dispersion was studied by selecting different Method of solid dispersion and Formulation
Parameters on Tableting Behavior of Solid Dispersion was found on the basis of in-vitro Drug Release.
Keywords: Paracetamol, Solid Dispersion.
