ABSTRACT
Methodology: 40 healthy college students of male gender between the age group 18 to 23 were randomly selected These groups are assessed for Schobers test to measure the range of motion and Sorensen score to measure endurance and divided into two groups group-A to prone back extensors exercises and group- B to Pilates exercises. Results: The results of this study shows that both the groups shows significant changes in schobers test and Sorensen test after 4 weeks of intervention. Conclusion: The intra-group analysis showed that both the treatments are effective in terms of all the measures Sorensen test
& Schobers test values. However, the inter-group analysis showed that there is no significant difference between two treatments in terms of changes in those two measures namely Sorensen test & Schobers test values. Therefore, we conclude that both the treatments are almost similar in terms of its effectiveness in significantly improving the efficacy measures.
