KHALITYA: A DISEASE REVIEW WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO ALOPECIA

ABSTRACT

Alopecia literally means partial or complete abcence of hairs. The said disease is also equated under the heading of 'Kalitya' in ayurvedic texts. As the disease is having very few and scattered refrences it will be a need of study to collect its etiological factors, prodromal symptoms, signs, pathology etc. in details.
