ENDO-PERIO LESIONS: EXTERNAL ROOT RESORPTIONS
Dr. Sanjay Nandwani* and Dr. Anjali Nandwani
ABSTRACT
Root surface resorptions generally advance without exhibiting any clinical symptoms and conventionally go undetected by patients. Such resorptions are usually revealed inadvertently by radiographs. Eventually these root surface defects communicate with the gingival sulcus through the periodontium. Because these root deformities demonstrate advanced periodontal pockets depths and pus drainage from gingival sulcus, they emulate periodontal lesions, although these lesions respond to endodontic modalities.
Keywords: External root resorption.
