CANCER AND ITS DIAGNOSIS BY AN ADVANCED DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Cancer is one of the major sets of diseases which becomes one of the biggest root cause of death in the present scenario and continues to be in future with much higher rates, so-called Life-Threatening Disease. Its treatment involved a prolonged study of the cases so well to be diagnosed by oncologist physician; one of the major challenges in treatment is that early identification of tumor stages will become beneficial for the doctors and patients too. In this review, we discuss the burden of cancer across the world and its major effects over the Indian and US population. Use of different natural Plant extracts for the treatment of cancer, common Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Radiation therapy-based treatments, and most important applications the use of Nanoparticle as anticancer drug carrier and as future medicine to fight against cancer. Nanotechnology provides a great benefit to the researchers and has emerged a new scientific field in medicines and technology. Being a novel compound, nanoparticles act as a drug carrier with the advancement in its stability, capacity to intake the drug inside leading with improved bioavailability and reducing the drug dosage frequency. Besides these factors we have collected novel anticancer both cytotoxic & targeted drugs from 1949 to 2019 which has been approved by US-FDA.
