ABSTRACT

Insilico drug design is the form of computer based model and this technology as been used in the drug discovery process. They impact mostly on the entire drug development trajectory and help in reducing the cost and time, and minimize the experimental use of animals for in-vivo testing, for aiding the design of the safer drugs and for repositioning known drugs, for assisting medicinal chemists at each step of the drug discovery process. Where as the conventional methods for the drug discovery process involved the costly random screening of synthesized compounds and natural products. This effort can be reduced by using the computerized process for drug development.
