ABSTRACT
In our day to day life pharmaceuticals are rapidly development of new drugs introduction into the market. The main aim of pharmaceuticals to develop quality, safety and efficacy drugs for human health. A quality drug when marketed, has various factors associated with impurities identification at each stage of its development. Identification of impurities and controlling of impurity levels by using different techniques for detection of impurities in each and every stage of drug development. Various types of impurities are present in pharmaceuticals such as organic, inorganic and heavy metals. The present review mainly focused on analytical methods for the detection of inorganic impurities and inorganic elements. Different analytical methods are used to quantification of inorganic compounds like volumetric, gravimetric, spectroscopic and hyphenated techniques are
explained in broadly.
Keywords: Pharmaceuticals, Inorganic elements, Impurities, Analytical methods, Hyphenated techniques.
