A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON DHYANA (MEDITATION), CONCENTRATION & SMRITI: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
In present era individuals are overloaded with mental exertion specially students which adversely affect the memory and concentration of many students. The nature of the mind, is to jump from thought to thought which makes mind restless and unable to concentrate. Dhyana (Meditation) allows students to know themselves better, helping them feel more relaxed and peaceful. The observation showed that there is significant effect of dhyana, Concentration & Smriti on Students.The study shows that there is significant increase in Concentration and Smriti of college students on meditation.
