A REVIEW ON OCULAR PHARMACOLOGY

ABSTRACT

Pharmacology is the science of drug. In a broad sense, it deals with the interaction of exogenously administered chemical molecules (drugs) with living systems. There is a number of different ways for the administration of drug in the living systems. In case of ophthalmology there are two routes for drug administration. More or less all drugs have their own side effect. Ocular drugs also have this sort of property. Pharmacodynamics means – What the drug does to the body and pharmacokinetics means – What the body does to the drug.
