ABSTRACT
Pain acts as a defensive mechanism against the injury or tissue damage. Numbers of factors are associated with the pain. Persistent pain occurs because of the serious health conditions, and therefore the chronic pain came into picture. The epidemics of the global states that the majority of the disease burden is because of the pain related diseases. About millions of people suffer from the chronic pain. Various factors are responsible for the risk of the chronic pain. In order to know about the relation of pain with the various factors, additional studies regarding this is to be done. So, we have to understand the role and the mechanisms of the number of therapeutics targets involve in the inflammation which is associated with pain. Receptors and proteins
are involved in the production of cytokines. Cytokines and various pro-inflammatory mediators aids in the inflammatory pain. Inhibition of such mechanisms helps to inhibit the inflammatory pain. Number of molecules and drugs are discovered which antagonizes these receptors or proteins, which are responsible for production of inflammatory cytokines. This article focuses on targeting various therapeutics targets which may inhibit their pathways and release of cytokines which therefore can be used in inflammatory pain management.
Keywords: Inflammatory pain, pro-inflammatory mediators, receptors, proteins.
