ABSTRACT
In this study gut microbiome analysis has been conducted where gut diversity score and change in disease severity index has been studied using stool sample of individuals with IBS, IBD and ODS. Patients with IBD, IBS, ODS were selected (15 participants) and stool samples were analysed before and after giving KB01 prebiotic. The gut diversity score for all diseases mean (SD) =2.83(0.47) is significantly less and gut diversity score after the use of KB01 mean (SD) = 3.1 (0.29) with p value 0.00206. Risk index analysis clearly states good change in gut microbiome except obesity and rheumatoid arthritis.
