ABSTRACT
The main aim of Ayurveda is to maintain the health of healthy person and to cure the disease of a diseased person. In the present era, every person due to their modernized and fast life style, suffering from several diseases and living stressful life. Due to changed in lifestyle of human being also creates several disturbance in their biological system, which results to Agnimandya, formation of immature rasa and incomplete metabolized substances after that these all collectively are responsible for formation of Ama. This Ama which is formed due to Agnimandya accumulates in Shleshma-sthanas with the help of Vyana Vayu which produces stiffness, swelling, and tenderness, in the joint. Due to disturbance of Kapha Dosha especially Shleshaka kapha in
Amavata causes joint pain and swelling with tenderness which can be correlated with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is the most common inflammatory arthritis and hence an important cause of preventable disability. Many of the clinical features and management strategies in RA are relevant across the spectrum of inflammatory joint disease.
