ABSTRACT
In inspection of 2-aminobenzothiazole analogues are of interest due to their extensive diversity of potential activities eligible structures in medicinal chemistry. It containing 2-aminobenzothiazole core nucleus in reaction condition was successfully synthesized in alcoholic medium by using molecular sieves. Most of the compounds have excellent antimicrobial and antifungal activities; synthesized compounds were evaluated for bacterial and fungal growth inhibition against the pathogenic strains of E. coli, S. aureus and A.niger, the preliminary in vitro condition. BZTS-03, BZTS-12 and BZTS-13 were found to be potent antimicrobial activity against E. coli and S. aureus as compared to ciprofloxacin. BZTS-08, BZTS-12 and BZTS-02 were exhibited moderate antifungal activities against A.niger when compared to fluconazole. The synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, HRMS, C, H and N analyses and 1H-NMR spectroscopic techniques.
Keywords: 2-aminobenzothiazole, pharmacological applications, antimicrobial activity, antifungal activity.
