ABSTRACT
The antioxidant activity study was more enhance the medicinal plant seeds values and the study was conducted to determine the antioxidant properties of selected three plant seeds Trachyspermum ammi (L.), Trigonella foenum- graecum L., and Piper nigrum L. are have more potential activities. Free radicals or ROS are efficient to inducing the injury to the cell and tissues in the human body. Antioxidants are the active compounds which are inhibit the reactive species and reduce the stress induced diseases. These three plant seeds are used in treatment of all kinds of metabolic disorders in human. The antioxidant activity of these medicinal plants were evaluated by measuring and analyse the reducing ability by the method of DPPH free radical scavenging activity and hydroperoxide methods. The study can be concluded that the systematic use of Trachyspermum ammi (L.), Trigonella foenum-
graecum L., and Piper nigrum L. as a tremendous supplements could be more benefit for general metabolic problems or disorders caused by free radical damage in the human cells and tissues.
