ABSTRACT
The impectous of the study was to compare the antibacterial activity of a dried petals of Rosa damanscena with ethyl extract. R damanscena used as a flavouring agent, spice in meat dishes, sauce, ice-cream and many more like pharmacologically in the treatment of chest pain, strengthing the heart, treatment of menstrual bleeding and digestive problems and reduction of inflammation, especially of the neck. For the detection of Anti bacterial activity the powdered drug 30gm was successively extracted with ethyl acetate with the help of soxhlet apparatus with 3-4 successive days after that separate out the mixture
of lipid compound by separating funnel lipid extract was performed the column chromatography with the help of mobile phase (acetone) after chromatography over silica gel 254 by gradient elution technique the extract collected in effindrop and it was stepup for TLC and HPLC after the analysis of HPLC and the bacterial test results comes out the extract was successfully active against the bacteria Streptococcus mutens is facultatively anaerobic gram positive bacteria coccus commonly found in human oral cavity and is a significant of tooth decay. Klebseilla pneumonia is gram negative bacteria non- motile, encapsulated, lactose-fermenting facultative anaerobic rod-shaped bacterium. It appears as a mucoid lactose fermenter on MacConkey agar. Although found in the normal flora of the mouth, skin and intestine.
