PICO TECHNOLOGY: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
Pico technology is a combination of pico meter and technology, which is similar the term nanotechnology. This is the future of nano technology; the pico meter is the trillionths of a meter in other way pico scale. This size is one third of nano meter and these orders of magnitude smaller than in the field of chemistry transformations and measurements. It is explaining by consideration at the atomic level. A future innovative development of this technology is femto technology it would involve working with matter at the subatomic level. The term
pico technology is a neologism intended to parallel the term nanotechnology. It is the next level of technological manipulation of matter, on the scale of trillionths of a meter or pico-scale (10−12). This is three orders of magnitude smaller than a nano-meter (and thus most nanotechnology) and two orders of magnitude smaller than most chemistry transformations and measurements. The structure and properties of individual atoms can be altered via manipulation of energy states within electrons, to produce metastable states with highly unusual properties, creating new and exotic forms of matter. Pico technology at the most basic level involves the manipulation of matter at the atomic level. There are many technologies that produce effects at the pico-scale, but 'pico-tech' is a particular term, analogous to 'nanotech'. Pico technology rearranges matter on the pico-scale with something analogous to nanotechnology's scope and precision. It allows not only precise arrangement and configuration of atoms but even arrangement of their internal states, leading not only to enhanced control over natural chemical and elementary reactions but to the creation of entirely novel atoms and molecules, including some stable and useful forms of exotic matter.
