A SINGLE CASE STUDY OF DOOSHIVISHA TREATMENT IN OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS

ABSTRACT
Occupational hazard is a hazard experienced in a workplace. In the present era, many toxins are present in the atmosphere, which aggravates many diseases in our body. In developing countries, where work is becoming increasingly mechanized, many work processes have been developed that put worker’s life & their health at risk. Present case study is related with dooshivisha symptoms due to his work conditions, which can be regarded as a slow occupational hazard, following the principle of Ayurveda, to evaluate the efficacy of result. Patient was suffering with loss of appetite, nausea, weight loss, indigestion & lack of sleep. Nidan parivarjan with agnisandipan &
vrinhana chikitsa was given to remove shrotovarodha. Agni Sandeepan Rasa, Ajeernakantaka Rasa, Aamalaki Choorna, Shankhapushpi Choorna, Chitrakadi Vati, Haritaki Choorna & Drakshasava was suggested instead. Changes was noticed in 15 days & within 2 months, symptoms was disappeared. The patient was adviced to take pathya apathya. This chikitsa sutra was found very effective in case of occupational hazards, so, this therapy is very beneficial for all industrial areas.
