ABSTRACT The current review articles offers details accounts of the syntthesiis,, charactteriizattiion & anttiimiicrobiiall acttiiviitty of novell 1,,2,,4,,5- ttettrasubsttiittutted iimiidazolle conttaiiniing resulltts of variious ttypes of sttudy descriibe iimiidazolle riing systtem iis a core sttructture iin many syntthettiic compound shows abroad range of Anttiimiicrobiiall acttiiviitty.. The sttructture of newlly prepared compounds were confiirmed by modern anallyttiicall ttechniique (IR,, 1H-NMR,, mass specttrall datta) and ellementtall anallysiis,, resulltts found iin fullll agreementt wiitth ttheiir assiigned sttructtures..[[1]] Allll tthe syntthettiic compound screened for ttheiir anttiimiicrobiiall acttiiviitty agaiinstt bactteriiall sttraiins viiz.. Escheriichiia collii,, Sttaphyllococccus aureus,, Baciillllus subttiilliis and fungall sttraiins viiz.. Aspergiillllus niiger,, Penicillium chrysogenum, Fusarium moneliforum, Aspergillus flavus resulltt showed good tto remarkablle acttiiviitty.. The MIC (miiniimum iinhiibiittor concenttrattiion) vallues where dettermiined by compariison tto peniiciilllliin (anttii-bactteriiall) and griiseofullviin (anttii-fungall) as sttandard drug..
