FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF ALL PURPOSE OILS USING MOISTUREMETER AND VAPOMETER

ABSTRACT
In today’s era, consumer are entering into the crop of beautifying oils formulated to do everything from illuminating a dull complexion to strengthening lackluster locks. Fast-absorbing and lightweight, these edible oil-rich potions manage to nourish cuticles, facial skin, body and hair without leaving a trace of slick residue. The aim of the research paper was to evaluate the Moisturizing Properties and Qualitative Study of All Purpose Oil. All 5 formulated All Purpose oils were prepared with Sesame oil as a base oil, and Moringa, Manjistha and Hibiscus oils were incorporated as actives at different concentrations to check it’s efficiency. These Formulations were then evaluated for their Moisture Determination, Transepidermal Water Loss from skin. Under Qualitative test, the physical parameters for all the formulated All
Purpose Oil were studied and in vivo study was performed on hair samples.
