TRANSDERMAL PATCHES FORMED FROM EXTRACTS OF CAMELLIA SINENSIS – MINI REVIEW ON MULTI-MEDICINAL EFFECT DRUG DOSAGE FORM

ABSTRACT

Transdermal Drug Delivery System, has recently gained importance among the scholars & research and development establishments across the world. Reason being, these are the most efficient and effective drug delivery systems being available for the treatment of wide variety of disease and pathogenic factors among the patients of various aspects per se. Here, we try to put across an idea of establishing and researching the transdermal patches of very useful medicinal plant, i.e. Camellia sinensis (Green tea) in Indian households. Recent review written on this medicinal plant highlights the significance of wide variety of activities the plant possess. Hence, we put across the idea of building up Transdermal Patches of it, and making it available in the market if the research are in positive aspects.
