A REVIEW ON: EFFECT ON PHARMACOKINETICS OF NSAID DUE TO HERB-DRUG INTERACTIONS

ABSTRACT

NSAID being the most used drug in world and Chinese herbal medicines are also used widely hence most primarily. Some conventional drugs have same metabolic pathways as that of herbal drugs. These herbal drugs compete for either same target binding site or having same metabolic pathways during this process they interfere with the absorption, metabolism, distribution and excretion of conventional drugs. Thus this review is written in a way to overview the pharmacokinetics of NSAID due to herb-drug interactions different most commonly used herb.
