ABSTRACT
A huge number of drugs suffer from low oral bioavailability due to poor aqueous solubility and low dissolution rate. Formulation of a novel drug delivery system to enhance the solubility of poorly water-soluble drugs is one of the main focus of pharmaceutical technology. One of the major enhancing technique for the dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of feebly water-soluble drugs is the particle size reduction and transforming drugs from crystalline to amorphous state. The improvised method cleared the problem of drugs which are scantily hydrophilic and has low bioavailability and the firmness of these drugs can also be improved by this technique. This formulation is
unproblematic, economical and applicable to all drugs which are less soluble in nature.
Keywords: bioavailability, solubility, hydrophilic.
