A REVIEW ON COMPARISON OF CILNIDIPINE AND NIFEDIPINE IN CHRONIC KIDNEY PATIENTS

ABSTRACT

Chronic kidney disease is an important public health problem with its high prevalence of morbidity and mortality. Several issues contribute to high prevalence of chronic kidney disease in India. Diabetes and hypertension are the two main causes of chronic kidney disease. It gets worse slowly and symptoms usually appear once kidneys are usually damaged. Hence chronic kidney disease prevention and delaying progression by timely interventions are important public health objectives.
