ABSTRACT
Nyctanthes arbortritis is a traditional medicinal plant in India. It is a species plant in the family of oleaceae. The leaves are used for treatment of various diseases like sciatica, chronic fever, as a laxative, diaphoretic and diuretic. This plant leaves have more chemical constituents and nutritional values. The pharmacological effect of the plant leaves are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antihelmintic & antioxidant etc., In the present study, Phytochemicals analysis revealed the present of various compounds. The plant leaves are extracted by organic solvent such as (ethanol & acetone) and aqueous (distilled
H2o). The antibacterial susceptibility test conducted by two methods (well diffusion method and whattman no.1 filterpaper disc method) by using leaf extract and identify the antibacterial activity of plant leaves against the gram negative microorganisms. Antibiotic sensitivity test are performed.
