STABILITY STUDY & EVALUATION OF AYURVEDIC POLYHERBAL FORMULATION-ANOAC-H TABLET

ABSTRACT

Hemorrhoid generally found in every healthy individual. When there is engorgement of nervous tissues, smooth muscles breakdown by straining in defecation painful symptoms seen as itching, tenesmus, rectal discomfort, swelling, discharge, and bleeding at the time of defecation. Hemorrhoids could be external or internal tend to get worse over a time according to their severity grades as Grade I, II, III and it should be treated as soon as it occurs. Prevention can be initiated using Anoac-H Tablet which is a herbal formulation that helps in management of painful fissures, inflamed piles and associated symptoms. In new product using modern techniques contains developmental stages in which pharmaceutical analysis and stability studies are required to determine and assure the identity, potency and purity of ingredients, as well as those of the formulated products. In this study along with shelf life of formulation, evaluation parameters broadly contains phytochemical analysis of tablet, quality control, pesticide residue, Heavy Metal Analysis, Assay (Specific Constituents) were successfully evaluated that ensure its safe use.
