Abstract

PREVENTION OF SICKLE CELL DISEASE THROUGH AYURVEDA

ABSTRACT

This is well said that health is the real wealth nor the pieces of gold or silver. No one can mark question on these lines because if you are not physically fit then there will be lack of interest in all other activities. It seems miserable that health issues are rapidly increasing. There are various factors which are responsible for this thing like improper eating habits, busy schedule and our life style. Sickle cell disease is a genetic disorder which causes the expression of defective haemoglobin resulting in irregularly shaped red blood cells known as ―sickle cell‖. It is occurred due to natural mutation in haemoglobin molecule to protect RBCs from malarial parasites by making them a little rigid hence, preventing its entry and growth consequently sickle cell gene is mainly present amongst tribal group only, prevention to save by both receive persons should not attended to new birth because dominant doshas gene appears mostly in new baby. Derived managing from rukkshata (dehydration), sheetaushnata (more high temperature and low temperature.
