GREEN SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF SILVER NANOPARTICLE USING ZINGIBER OFFICINALE

ABSTRACT

The fabrication of reliable eco-friendly processes for synthesizing silver nanoparticle of Zingiber officinale (ZoAgNP) is an important aspect of the current study. Recently, the secrets discovered from nature combined with available metallic particles lead to the development of a beneficial compound (ZoAgNP) to the mankind. Thereby, scientists are endeavouring to use safe natural products for the preparation of silver nanoparticle, to reduce the side effects and increase the bioavailability by enhancing drug delivery property of the plant compound. Thus, the highest enhancing effect of the plant component can be utilised for many applications such as antibacterial activity, anticancer activity etc., and also proved to be efficient.
