ABSTRACT
To see the effect of Madhu and Tankana in the management of Shudhha Vrana cases presenting were selected with classical sign and symptoms of Shudhha Vrana. They were randomly allocated to two groups i.e. Group A(Trial group) and Group B(Control group). In control group Betadine ointment was selected. In both groups selected drugs are used as local application on Shudhha Vrana. The sign and symptoms of Vrana i.e. Pain, Burning, Tenderness, and Size were assessed before and after the completion of treatment. The relief provided by the therapy in Pain, Burning, Tenderness, Reduction of size were highly significant(P<0.001) in both groups. But while comparing both groups effect on therapy Trial group is significant in
pain and non-significant in burning, tenderness and reduction of size. However Both groups gives good result on Shudhha Vrana.
