Abstract

AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT FOR GRIDHRASI WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO SCIATICA- A CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT

Gridhrasi is one of the most common disorders of Vata and frequently physician is called upon to manage painful condition in clinical practice. Symptoms of Gridhrasi simulate with Sciatica. It is characterized by burning, tingling or numbing pain that is felt in the buttock, thigh, leg or foot. It may or may not be associated with low back pain. In this case report patient who suffered from Gridhrasi of the left leg since treated with combined Ayurvedic regimen. The signs and symptoms were assessed before and after the treatment. significance results was obtained after a course of 50 days treatment.
