*Bhatt Shashank, Dhyani Suresh and Rajesh Kumar Kesharwani

ABSTRACT

The medicinal plants have effective metabolites used for the development of medicines to cure the different types of diseases. Ailanthus excelsa is one of those important medicinal plants having various effective metabolic contents. The leaves of Ailanthus excelsa are a good source of proteins although their quantities may be various according to the environmental conditions. The three places- Chittorgarh, Sanwaliyaji (Rajasthan) and Dakor (Gujarat) were selected for this purpose and soluble protein contents were extracted from shade dried leaves. The values of samples from District Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) were found to be 4.2653, 4.3032, 4.2776, 4.2899 and 4.3146% respectively. The mean value was found 4.290%. The value of samples from Sanwaliyaji District Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) was found to be 3.5756, 3.5999, 3.5878, 3.6121, and 3.6243% respectively. The mean value was found 3.600%. The soluble protein quantities of Dakor District Kheda (Gujarat) were 5.5049, 5.5174, 5.5550, 5.5300, 5.5424 % & their mean value was 5.530%. The S.EM. value was 0.008748 and CD 5% value was 0.025807 that indicated the significant value.

Keywords: Ailanthus excelsa Roxb., Soluble Protein, Metabolites.
