Their crude phytochemical constituents rate, their total phenolic, alkaloid, mucilage, steroids and flavonoid were quantified. Chemical tests were carried out with the specimen’s powder and aqueous extract using standard identification procedures of the constituents. The results revealed the presence of the following components: phenols, alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, mucilage and steroids. The findings provided evidence that crude aqueous extracts of these plants contain medicinally important bioactive constituents.
