ABSTRACT
Phosphate solubilizing bacteria have the ability to covert the insoluble phosphate present in the soil to a soluble form that can easily be uptakes by plants. However, sometimes their capacity to solubilize the phosphate decreases by the use of some chemicals like pesticides. The present study was to isolate the PSB’s present in the soil identify it by 16S rRNA sequencing as 16S rRNA gene is the most conserved gene that is not easily affected by mutagens. The organophosphate groups of pesticides were used to detect the pesticide tolerance capacity by Agar well diffusion method in different concentrations of pesticide, pesticide used were Nuvan (Dichlorvas), Lethal TC (Chloryriphos), Tafgor (Dimethoate).
Keywords: Organophosphates, Dichlorvas, Chloryriphos, Dimethoate, rRNA.
