Abstract
SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION oF NOVEL [1,2,4]TRIAZOLO[4,3-C]PYRIMIDIN-3- YL)BENZAMIDE POSSESSING TRI FLUOROMETHYL, FLUORO, NITRO AND MORPHOLINE, THIO MORPHOLINE MOIETIES

ABSTRACT
Purpose: The article is aimed to synthesize, characterize and screening
the biological activity of a series of N-(5-morpholino-
[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-0]pyrimidin-3-yl)-4-trifluoromethyl/Fluoro/Nitro/
methoxy) benzamide(7 a-h). Methods: The newly synthesized
compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and IR, 1H-NMR,
13C NMR and Mass spectral data. The antimicrobial activity of the
novel compounds was screened by agar disc diffusion method.
Results: 7b, 7d,7a, 7c have shown better antibacterial and anti fungal
activity than other compounds of the series. Pyrimidine linked Fused
triazoles nucleus has shown good antibacterial and antifungal
activities.
