Abstract

DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF UV-SPECTROSCOPIC METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF DIDANOSINE IN TABLET

ABSTRACT

A simple, sensitive, rapid and accurate UV-Spectroscopic method has been developed for the estimation of Didanosine in bulk drug and tablet dosage form. In order to increase value of absorbtivity and subsequently LOD the drug was dissolved in water and acetonitrile (90:10) and absorbance was measured at 249.60 nm. The linearity of method was found to be between 1-14 μg/ml. The method was validated based on ICH guidelines. Hence useful for the routine analysis of Didanosine.
