Abstract

A CURABLE AND TREATABLE LYMPHOMA---HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA--A CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT

Here we are reporting a case of Hodgkin’s Lymhoma in a elderly male patient aged 55 years. He was known diabetic and he is on treatment. He developed loss of weight with profuse sweating at night associated with loss of apitite for the past 5 months. He was thoroughly examined and important relevant investigations were done .Final diagnosis was Hodgkin’s lymphoma Clinical examination: Revealed enlarged lymph nodes around the trachea & in the region of Carina, enlargement of lymph nodes in the region of Right Iliac Fossa. So, there is also associated with enlarged spleen. There is presence of nodule over left lung. There is also involvement of structures above diaphragm, below diaphragm, and in the region of Right Iliac Fossa No other group of
lymph nodes were involved nor enlarged. There was no bony involvement He was known diabetic but not hypertensive Systemicaly he was normal. By observing all these findings, made us interesting to report this case.
