Abstract

STUDY OF PATHOGENESIS OF VISHAMAJWARA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO HAEMOGRAM

ABSTRACT

Jwara is the most powerful ailment because it affects the whole body, the senses and the mind due to vikriti of Rasavaha Srotasa. The reference of Vishama Jwara is available in Atharvaved; in this context the Vishama Jwara is irregular in onset, dissimilar symptoms and last for a longer period. It is a type of Jwara with characteristic feature in the terms of Muktanubandhitva and Vishamatva in terms of Arambh, Kriya and Kala. The Samprapti of Vishama Jwara was evaluated through manifestation of the disease. Further the study of its signs & symptoms and the impact of it on Haemogram & its variation had been observed along with changes in investigations like Hb%, RBC, WBC, DLC & Platelets count Haemogram gives idea to differentiate between various types of fever. So Haemogram would be helpful to diagnosis types of Vishama Jwara. 100 diagnosed volunteers of Vishama Jwara were identifying for the study. The study was observational based clinical study. Separate case paper Performa has been prepared as per need. Lakshana and total Haemogram with Microscopy of the smear were assessed on the basis of detailed case proforma. Results- Individual Samprapti formed according to types of Vishama Jwara and gives a relation of complete Haemogram. Heamogram was mildly decreased in Vishama Jwara.
